Emil Layacan, is a supply chain executive and Certified Public Accountant with over 20 years of industry experience. With a PwC Advisory foundation, he is known for helping healthcare leaders align around sourcing decisions and translating complex financial data into actionable strategies. Emil began his healthcare career at Mount Sinai Health System in New York City, where he built and led its first Value Analysis program. He later spent six years at Conductiv, leading cost-reduction programs for health systems nationwide. He has also worked with ECRI Institute, supporting evidence-based benchmarking and advisory efforts focused on hospital non-labor spend.

Emil currently leads Finance and Supply Chain for Montefiore Einstein, specializing in indirect, capital & construction, and FF&E spend. With experience spanning enterprise systems and national advisory roles, Emil helps teams prioritize the right opportunities, structure governance, and execute sourcing decisions that balance cost, cash, speed, and service.
