Description

Alignment across all parties involved in the design process is a goal that many organizations strive to achieve, but many struggle to implement practically. Not only gathering, but also acting on input from architecture, capital equipment, and facilities management representatives is crucial to an effective project design. By incorporating feedback early and often in the design process, chances of miscommunication and overall risk are lowered significantly.

In this session, explore critical considerations for the implementation of an aligned design process. Learn practical steps necessary to gain impactful insights from the most relevant parties.

Learning Objectives:
1. Identify key parties critical to the facility design process.
2. Evaluate the benefits of early and consistent communication with all facets of the facility design process.
3. List practical strategies for gathering input that will be impactful in designing and building a healthcare facility.
4. Outline strategies for maintaining alignment from project planning to execution.
