Barbara Wagner oversees the national healthcare market sector for Clark Construction Group.

With extensive experience in design-build and healthcare, Barbara works with Clark's regional offices to ensure consistency and best practices are utilized across the country in these market areas.

Barbara joined Clark more than 30 years ago in the Mid-Atlantic and worked on a range of projects in Maryland, Boston, Northern Virginia, and Washington, DC. Throughout her tenure at Clark, Barbara has provided leadership on many healthcare and hospital projects including Community Regional Medical Center, Dignity Health, Northridge Hospital Medical Center, Camp Pendleton Naval Hospital, Ventura County Medical Center, Highland Hospital, Clovis Community Medical Center, New Stanford Hospital, and Cedars-Sinai Marina del Rey Hospital.

Barbara earned her bachelor of architecture degree from the Catholic University of America and a master's degree in civil engineering and construction management from the University of Maryland.

Barbara holds a contractor and engineer’s license in the state of California, DBIA designation, and LEED accreditation.

Barbara is a recognized expert in alternative project delivery and California's OSHPD building requirements. An active member of the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) for 25 years, Barbara has served as both National DBIA Chairwoman and President of DBIA's Western Pacific Region. She currently serves on several boards and committees and is a frequent speaker at construction and healthcare industry conferences.
