About the Presenters

Before his current position, he served as Vice President, Business Development for Owens & Minor, Inc., the largest healthcare industry distributor and supply chain management services company. Jamie worked with all company business units evaluating and enhancing current services, identifying and developing new services and strategic direction, establishing complementary business alliances, developing customer strategies and establishing new customer relationships. He held a similar position as Vice President, Strategy & Development for McKesson Provider Technologies — a business unit of Fortune 12 McKesson Corporation.
Jamie is a Co-Founder and Board Chairman of The Bellwether League, Inc. (now the Bellwether League Foundation), the not-for-profit Hall of Fame for Healthcare Supply Chain Executives. He was also inducted into the Bellwether League Hall of Fame in 2017.
The Association of Healthcare Resource and Materials Management (AHRMM) selected Jamie for the 2011 George R. Gossett Leadership Award; the organizations highest honor.
Jamie earned both MBA and BS in Management degrees from Marquette University, where he achieved membership in Beta Gamma Sigma for academic achievement. Jamie has authored three books, over 100 articles and contributed chapters for two other books, all on supply chain management related content.

Working with clients across healthcare, high tech, retail, food and drink and the logistics industries, PerformanSC has established a reputation for leveraging the power of supply chain data to drive strategic transformation efforts.
He is a co-founder of the Supply Chain Peer Network (a peer network for supply chain leaders), is a member of the Irish Government’s Logistics and Supply Chain Skills group and is a regular contributor to international supply chain events and publications.
Prior to PerformanSC Lorcan has worked with some of the world’s largest technology, consumer goods and
medical device companies’ supply chain teams as Senior Vice President with ModusLink — a global supply chain services provider.
A fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, Lorcan has been quoted on supply chain topics in
The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times and was twice named by Supply and Demand Chain Executive as one of their Supply Chain ‘Pros to Know’.
He has co-authored the Health System Supply Chain Insights series with Jamie Kowalski since 2014.
