Idea Exchanges

Monday, February 21, 2022 | 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM

For two years, lockdowns and travel restrictions have prevented the gathering of peers and thus the ability to talk and learn from one another. The ACE Summit is excited to get back together where we kick off the week with industry-focused Idea Exchanges in an open, collaborative forum for you to engage with your peers. Lunch will be provided between the first and second sessions for the Idea Exchange attendees.

The COVID-19 pandemic exposed many weaknesses within the infrastructure of healthcare facilities.  We saw an extraordinary response from facility designers and builders as they re-paved the road toward the other side of this pandemic. Now, nearly two years after the initial cases in the U.S., we’d like to reflect on how far we’ve come. Join us in an open-forum discussion with some of the leading healthcare facility builders and owners as we discuss the major trends being used in today’s design and construction of healthcare facilities.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Analyze the weaknesses within the infrastructure of healthcare facilities that were exposed during the pandemic.
  2. Identify trends impacting the healthcare design and construction industry.
  3. Discuss how your organization has or plans to evolve the infrastructure of its facilities for a post-pandemic world.
  4. Outline best practices for developing long term design and construction strategies for successful healthcare facilities.
