Join us for an insightful session where attendees will discover how to leverage operational data to enhance the efficiency of their surgical platforms. Learn to identify and define key performance indicators (KPIs) critical for OR efficiency, and gain insights into data-driven strategies and best practices through real-world examples and case studies. Additionally, explore how to evaluate the impact of data-driven decisions on operating room operations and identify areas for further optimization.

Learning Objectives

1. Understand the Importance of Operational Data: Attendees will learn how operational data can be leveraged to enhance the efficiency of operating rooms (OR). This includes understanding the types of data available and how they can be collected and analyzed.

2. Identify Key Metrics for OR Efficiency: Participants will be able to identify and define key performance indicators (KPIs) that are critical for measuring OR efficiency. This includes metrics such as turnover times, utilization rates, and case duration.

3. Implement Data-Driven Strategies: Attendees will gain insights into various strategies and best practices for utilizing operational data to drive improvements in OR efficiency. This includes real-world examples and case studies.

4. Evaluate the Impact of Data-Driven Decisions: Participants will learn how to assess the impact of data-driven decisions on OR operations. This includes understanding how to measure improvements and identify areas for further optimization.

Educational content is created to meet continuing education (CE) accreditation standards for the American Institute of Architects (AIA), International Facilities Managers Association (IFMA), Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM), Institute of Supply Management (ISM), and the Professional Development Hours for Engineers (PDH). By participating in the ACE Summit Master Class, attendees are eligible for one hour of Continuing Education credit.
