Additionally, explore how to evaluate the impact of data-driven decisions on operating room operations and identify areas for further optimization.

Learning Objectives

1. Understand the Importance of Operational Data: Attendees will learn how operational data can be leveraged to enhance the efficiency of operating rooms (OR). This includes understanding the types of data available and how they can be collected and analyzed.

2. Identify Key Metrics for OR Efficiency: Participants will be able to identify and define key performance indicators (KPIs) that are critical for measuring OR efficiency. This includes metrics such as turnover times, utilization rates, and case duration.

3. Implement Data-Driven Strategies: Attendees will gain insights into various strategies and best practices for utilizing operational data to drive improvements in OR efficiency. This includes real-world examples and case studies.
