Idea Exchanges

Monday, February 21, 2022 | 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM

For two years, lockdowns and travel restrictions have prevented the gathering of peers and thus the ability to talk and learn from one another. The ACE Summit is excited to get back together where we kick off the week with industry-focused Idea Exchanges in an open, collaborative forum for you to engage with your peers. Lunch will be provided between the first and second sessions for the Idea Exchange attendees.

Facility Planning Forum
Session Leader:
Michael Gerhardt
9:30 AM - 10:45 AM

The ability to adapt has always been a fundamental trait when determining the successfulness of a facility planner. We saw this put to the test as COVID-19 rapidly changed the priorities of hospitals and needs of patients. There’s been a transformation in the healthcare delivery system that’s shifted how facility planners are developing strategies for the future. We invite you to join facility leaders in an open-forum discussion on how they’re adapting to the trends affecting their planning strategies. Collaborate ideas and provide solutions to challenges you're facing as you look to plan the future of the healthcare infrastructure.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Classify the changes in hospital priorities and patient needs that are having the largest impact on facility planners.

  1. Identify examples of how these changes have directly impacted your organization.

  1. Outline best practices for tackling the new challenges facility planners face in the long-term planning of healthcare infrastructure.

  1. Explore the benefits of collaboration between organizations when planning the future of healthcare infrastructure.
