Dale Locklair, MBA, FAHRMM, CHEP, CMRP has over 40 years of project development and management experience. He spent his 16-year healthcare career with McLeod Health where he served first as the Director of Real Estate and then as the Vice President of Procurement before serving over nine years as the Senior Vice President of Planning and Facilities. He considers it a privilege to have recruited, worked with, and mentored many of talented people within the Institution’s legal, regulatory compliance, supply chain, real estate, planning, design, construction, and engineering departments within his division. Dale’s responsibilities included strategic planning for facilities, including the development and buildout of the system’s regional medical center campus master plan, planning and development of its coastal campuses and one of the earliest consolidated service/distribution centers serving the institution’s supply chain in healthcare. During his career with McLeod, he led the real estate and facility strategic planning, construction, and renovation of over $1 billion in projects and he managed over 3.5 million square feet of hospitals and medical buildings.

Prior to joining McLeod, Dale served as Senior Project Manager for the Sports, Entertainment, and Recreation division of Burroughs & Chapin Company where he led development and construction of projects within the U.S. and Canada that included major portions of Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach, SC, along with numerous NASCAR SpeedParks, ESPN X-Game Parks, Water Parks, and a Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville. Dale counts it an enormous privileged to have work with and been a consultant to Pete Dye for the Ocean Course at Kiawah Island for the 1991 Ryder Cup and to have played key roles in the restoration and preservation of over 60 acres of environmentally sensitive frontal dunes along the beaches of South Carolina.

Locklair earned a B.S. degree from Clemson University and MBA from Colorado State University. He is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma, International Business Honor Society and the Association for Health Care Resource & Materials Management and is the recipient of the Global Healthcare Exchange (GHX) Supply Chain Leadership Excellence Award, the 2013 McLeod Spirit of Hospice Award, and the 2003 Employee of the Year, Corporate Support Division, Burroughs & Chapin Company.
