    • Project Airbridge: President Trump and supply chain distribution executives announced an important partnership between the federal government and private industry called Project Airbridge which will accelerate the typical 37 days it requires to get supplies by ship from Asia. By partnering with commercial carriers and national health care distribution partners, the supplies will get placed into the healthcare supply chain significantly sooner. President Trump further thanked leaders from FedEx, Cardinal Health, UPS, McKesson, Henry Schein, Medline and Owens & Minor for their leadership in accelerating the delivery of much needed supplies.

    FDB has also developed, at no cost or obligation, an extensive list of manufacturers and vendors of supplies such as ventilators, N95 masks, gloves, and other protective equipment. Part numbers and UDI information are included, as well as each manufacturer's contact information. We hope that this information, curated from our FDB Prizm medical device knowledge platform and other available sources, will help organizations identify new suppliers for the items they are currently finding unavailable.

  • AHA Helps Launch Protecting People Everywhere, powered by HealthEquip™
    HealthEquip is a smart app that will match individuals and organizations donating PPE with local hospitals based on needs-criteria. The app also will track PPE donations and manage shipping through UPS to hospitals. AHA is sharing this app with hospitals through its 100 Million Mask Challenge as a way for us to help facilitate a more efficient means of distributing critically needed PPE to frontline health care workers.
